Description	:	Donald Edward Moul was born to Lewis Benson Moul and Ninette McCashland Moul on February 12, 1928, at Shenandoah, Iowa and passed away Mary 14, 2008, at The Hearthstone in York, at the age of 80 years, three months and two days. He was one of three children in the family. Don was a life-long resident of Fairmont. Don attended school through the 11th grade. Read More	Donald Edward Moul was born to Lewis Benson Moul and Ninette McCashland Moul on February 12, 1928, at Shenandoah, Iowa and passed away Mary 14, 2008, at The Hearthstone in York, at the age of 80 years, three months and two days. He was one of three children in the family. Don was a life-long resident of Fairmont. Don attended school through the 11th grade. He was married to Shirley Ann Tutty of Fairmont on February 4, 1960, and to them two children were born. Farming was a very important aspect of Don's life and he loved farming along with wood-working and working on tractors, particularly F 20's. While he was a resident at the Hearthstone, Don was always talking about the farm, he wanted to know how the farming was going and was always talking about the things that took place on the farm. In his younger days Don also loved animals. He would often speak of his dog, Scruffy, while in the Hearthstone. He also loved to feed the birds and would yell at the squirrels when they would get into the bird feed. Don was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He always called Shirley, "Shirley Ann" to almost everyone he talked to. He loved his family, especially his grandchildren, William and Crystal Moul and his daughter-in-law, Ellen Moul. Don is preceded in death by his parents, Lewis and Ninette Moul and son, Brian Moul. He is survived by his wife, Shirley Ann Moul,; son, Bruce Moul; grandchildren, William and Crystal Moul; brother and sister-in-law, Dale and Lanora Mould; sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Larry Ackland; daughter-in-law, Ellen Moul; sister-in-law, Sharon Krejci and by nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services for Don were held at the Fairmont Community Church on May 17, with the Rev. Dr. Raponzil Drake officiating. Nancy Jo Galusha accompanied Caitlin Moore, who sang "In the Garden," and "The Old Rugged Cross." Pallbearers for the service were David Bristol, John Lowe, Don Bristol, Duane Lott, Marvin Roper and Gary Dumpert. Interment was held in the Fairmont Public Cemetery.
