Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 13, at Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Petersburg, with the Rev. John O'Connor officiating. The Rev. Tony Kruse will assist as concelebrant. Burial will be in the church cemetery. He graduated from St. Boniface High School in 1956. Don then enlisted in the Navy serving from 1958 to 1962. He owned and operated Gomer's Grocery Store in Petersburg for 34 years. Surviving are his siblings, Roland (Terese), of Dubuque, James, of Manchester, Laverne "Bud," of Petersburg, Mary Lou Gravel, of Dyersville, John "Jack" (Shirley), of Holy Cross, twin sister, Doris (John) Burlage, of Monticello, Peter (Clarice), of Dubuque; in-laws, Rita Domeyer, of Dyersville, and Virginette Domeyer, of Manchester; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, Milton (Marie), William, Daniel and Paul (Diane) Domeyer; and in-laws, Ellen Domeyer, LaVon Domeyer and Loras Gravel.
