Born Sept. 22, 1926 in Oldtown, he was the son of the late Gilbert W. Crabtree and Mary E. (Hott) Crabtree. He was also preceded in death by brothers and sisters, Juanita (Crabtree) Ark, Kenneth Crabtree, Stanley Crabtree, and Marlin Crabtree. Mr. Crabtree worked for Fairchild Industries, Allegany Instrument, Celanese Corp. and then later retired at New Dominion. Donald served in the Army during World War II.
