Read More	Donald Henry Hendrix Died July 31, 2015 Anderson, SC Donald Henry Hendrix, 90, husband of Libby Hendrix, passed away Friday, July 31, 2015 at the Rainey Hospice House. Born in Greer, he was the son of the late Tom W. and Florence Hendrix. He was a U.S. Army-Air Corp veteran of World War II serving in the Pacific and Japan. Mr. Hendrix was retired from Duke Power Company with 39 years service. He was a member of First Baptist Church where he was a Life Deacon and a member of the Tom Allen Bible Class. Survivors include his wife of fifty-nine and a half years, Libby Hendrix; daughter, Tracey Ramsey and husband, Don; son, Don W. Hendrix and wife, Patsy, all of Anderson; three grandchildren, Melissa Hendrix Davidson and husband, Jeremy, Don H. Hendrix and Leigh Ramsey; sister-in-law, Jean Hendrix; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Thomas Earl Hendrix and Gene Hendrix and two sisters, Fay Hendrix Trammell and Carol Hendrix Floyd. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Forest Lawn Memorial Park conducted by Dr. James R. Thomason. Military honors will be provided by the Campbell Patriots Honor Guard. the family will receive friends at the cemetery following the service. The family is at the residence. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, 307 South Manning Street, Anderson, SC 29624 or Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Road, Anderson, SC 29621.
