He was a carpenter for H&F Builders for 26 years and an Iowa State employee for 13 years. Don was a member of St. Petri Lutheran Church in Story City. He liked to dance and enjoyed music. His hobbies included woodworking, hunting and fishing. Don could often be seen walking his dog and was a caring person. His family was so very important to him. Don is survived by his wife of 47 years Marcia (Gibson) Millang of Story City; four children; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and four sisters. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother; and one sister.
