Description	:	Donald Lee Morgan passed away peacefully at home on July 14, 2010, after a brief battle with cancer, he was 70 years old. Don was born March 15, 1940 in Cottonwood to William "Pete" and Jenny May Morgan. Don was a Sargeant for the Tehama County Sheriffs Dept. and served for over 20 years. Don was an avid fisherman, and loved to hunt, but the love of his life was his wife Shirley, and his grandchildren. Don was an avid fisherman, and loved to hunt, but the love of his life was his wife Shirley, and his grandchildren. He will sorely be missed by all of his family and friends and especially his grand-children. The love that "Papa Don" showed his grandchildren was second to none, and his love will live forever in their heart. Don is survived by his loving and devoted wife Shirley, son Todd Morgan of Benicia, CA., step-daughters Robyn Landingham of Gerber and Stacey Zozule (Gerry) of San Diego, CA., step-son Robert Landingham (Kristina) of Vina, CA., nine grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, brother Richard of Cottonwood and numerous nieces and nephews. Don was preceded in death by his son Donnie, Jr. A graveside service will be held at the Cottonwood Cemetery on Monday, July 19th at 10:00 am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your local Hospice or the American Cancer Society . All arrangements are through The Hall Brothers Corning Mortuary.
