Description	:	Donald LeRoy Coburn Sr., age 80, passed away on August 10, 2007, of natural causes in Stevensville, Montana. Donald was born in Polson on July 11, 1927, to Herbert and Clovis Coburn. After graduating from Helena High in 1948, he went on to Carroll College and returned there in 1967. He also married and was blessed to have five children. Read More	Donald LeRoy Coburn Sr., age 80, passed away on August 10, 2007, of natural causes in Stevensville, Montana. Donald was born in Polson on July 11, 1927, to Herbert and Clovis Coburn. After graduating from Helena High in 1948, he went on to Carroll College and returned there in 1967. He also married and was blessed to have five children. On December 7, 1944, during World War II, he went into the U.S. Navy and then continued his service to our country in the Army Reserve and National Guard of Montana until he retired in 1987. He worked for the State of Montana as a personnel officer, where he worked hard and took work seriously; he retired in 1989. He also enjoyed working at the Legislature and had many close co-workers and friends. Donald was also a member of the Chamber of Commerce and Kiwanis Club and volunteered many hours for the Toys for Tots program. He enjoyed fishing, camping, hunting, photography and pistol shooting, where he earned national awards. In the last few years the gospel teachings were very important to him. He is preceded in death by his sisters, Clovis Capellen, Eileen Coburn and Christine Duncan; brothers, Joe Coburn and Robert Coburn. His survivors include his brother, Richard Coburn; and five children: Billy Jean Miller, Daniel C. Coburn, Donald L. Coburn, Jr., Louis Coburn and Colleen W. Coburn.
