Description	:	Donald LeRoy Driscoll, 69, of Gering died Saturday, November 9, 2002, at his home.. A memorial service will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Nov 14, at Gering Memorial Chapel, with Pastor Howard Roseberry officiating. At Don's request friends are asked to wear casual attire. Cremation was held at Sunset Park Crematory in Scottsbluff. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to the family. Don was born Sept. 10, 1933 to Reuben (Mike) and Clara (Bennett) Driscoll in Mitchell. He received his education in Gering. He married Rosie Hessler on July 3, 1954 and they made their home in Gering. He was employed by Burlington Freight, delivering to large stores in the Scottsbluff and Gering area. Later he began his employment with Baker's Transfer and Storage moving furniture. He was drafted into the United States Army on May 4, 1955, and he served until he was honorably discharged on April 24, 1957. After his military service he and his family moved to Colorado where he began his employment with Interstate Moving and Storage and Mayflower Moving and Storage until he retired in 1998. He and his family returned to Gering in 1999, where he resided until his death. He was a member of Central Church of Christ in Gering. He was a jack-of-all trades and he would drop anything to help others. He enjoyed doing remodeling and repairs around the house, yard work, gardening and watching wrestling on television. He is survived by his wife, Rosie of Gering; daughter, Rose Marie Daggett and special friend, Louis Ellis of Scottsbluff; brother Raymond Driscoll, Sr. of Bayard; sisters and brothers-in-law, Bonnie and Benny Laub and Joyce and Carl Peterson, all of Gering; brothers-in-law Von Richardson of Bayard and Donald Hessler of Gering; sisters-in-law, Norma Carpenter of Gering; Pat Goodro and her husband Cliff of Custer, S. D.; grandsons Christopher and John Naranjo of Colorado; two great grandsons, one great granddaughter; numerous nieces and nephews and his beloved dog Brandi. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Ruby Richardson; mother and father-in-law, Henry A. and Mollie (Sittner) Hessler; sister-in-law, Helen Driscoll; three nephews and one niece.### Contributor: Gary McClenahan - [email protected]
