Green was a groundman and truck driver for Iowa Electric Light and Power Co. Green was pronounced dead at the scene about 12:50 p.m. by Dr. W. J. Kopsa, Cedar County medical examiner. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Sorden Chapel, Lone Tree. Rev. Clifford Eggert will officiate and burial will be in the Lone Tree Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Wednesday. Donald Green was born Sept. 4, 1943, at Iowa City, the son of Robert and Denise Wolford Green. He married Rebecca Schreiber July 24, 1965, at Lone Tree. He was a member of the Iowa National Guard. Surviving are his wife; two sons, Phillip and Douglas, at home; a daughter, Deborah, at home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Green of Nichols; two brothers, Larry and John of Nichols; and a sister, Mrs. Gerald (JoAnn) Durst of Muscatine.
