Description	:	Donald was born Dec. 20, 1923, to Richard Henry and Ollie Mae Burrus Koller; he was the 11th of 13 children. Donald graduated from Pomeroy High School in 1942. After graduation, he worked on the family farm and for several area farmers until 1962. He then drove an oil truck for Dick Waldher for two years, after which he worked for Dye Seed Ranch until 1973. Schurman of Clarkston on May 10, 1963, in Pomeroy, where they made their home. He was a member of the Pomeroy Christian Church, Masonic Lodge and the Pomeroy Men's Golf Club. Donald also enjoyed bowling and was on a league with his brothers, where he won many trophies. He loved to play cards, especially bridge. Whenever family visited, there was no doubt the card table was up and various games were played. He enjoyed attending Cougar sporting events and taking time to travel. Donald and Jane went to several bowl games to watch the Cougars, including taking their grandson Ron to his first bowl game - the Alamo Bowl. Donald's favorite trips were those that included his grandsons, such as the time he accompanied Ron's baseball team to Australia to watch them play in Sydney, Brisbane and on the Gold Coast; and a trip to Wallowa Lake, where he and Dominique fed the deer and chipmunks. Donald and Jane went on seven cruises, traveling with members of both families and friends. Donald also enjoyed volunteering at the Pomeroy Food Bank. Survivors names omitted per findagrave policy. Donald was preceded in death by his parents, Richard H. Koller and Ollie Burrus Koller; brothers Clarence Koller, Edwin Koller, Raymond Koller and Lester Koller; and sisters Virgie Oldenburg, Blanche Ruark, Mabel Koller, Dorothy Feider, Marie Hutchens and Helen Jean Smelcer. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Pomeroy Christian Church, with a reception following. The family requests donations in Donald's name go to the Pomeroy Food Bank.
