Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 5, at St. John's Cemetery, Clarence, Iowa. Pastor Tommi Boeder will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Clarence Volunteer Fire Department or the Clarence Library. Don also had a sharpening business in Clarence for many years. He is survived by his wife, Dolores; one daughter, Patricia (Douglas) Horton of Cedar Rapids; two grandchildren, Chad Claney and Lindsay Meade; three great-grandchildren; and one brother, Dean Claney of Clarence.
