Description	:	RAVENNA — Donald Muhlbach, 91, of Ravenna died Tuesday, May 5, 2015, at Good Samaritan Center in Ravenna. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Ravenna United Methodist Church with the Rev. Scott Evans officiating. Burial will be at Sodtown Cemetery southeast of Ravenna. Rasmussen Funeral Home in Ravenna is in charge of arrangements. Donald Muhlbach was born Jan. 20, 1924, in rural Ravenna to Oscar and Susie (Hehner) Muhlbach. He grew up southeast of Ravenna and received his education at rural District 65 and Ravenna High School. He attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln for one year. He married Marie Minshull on March 18, 1952, in Litchfield. The couple made their home on a farm southeast of Ravenna. Donald farmed and was the owner of Muhlbach Seeds. They moved to Seneca Sunrise in Ravenna in 2011, and he moved to Ravenna Good Samaritan Center in 2015. Donald was a member of Zion United Methodist Church, Lions Club, Dawson Public Power Board and Ravenna Co-op Board and was a 4-H leader. He enjoyed conversation with customers of his seed business and loved entertaining as a clown and amateur ventriloquist. Survivors include his wife, Marie of Ravenna; son and daughter-in-law, Duane and Jeanne Muhlbach of Ravenna; daughters and sons-in-law, Margo and Stan Houlden of Friend and Rita and Doug Neagli of Reston, Va.; five grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Loyal and Donna Muhlbach of Broken Bow; sister and brother-in-law, Ruth and Leonard Lindly of Anselmo; brother-in-law, Frances Stein of Omaha; and sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Charlotte and Jack Ellsworth of Denver and Harriet and Gary Golter of Longmont, Colo. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Arleen Stein.
