Description	:	"YEOMAN - Donald Porter Crawford, Jr., 76, died at 12:31 AM Sunday, April 4, 1993, in the White County Memorial Hospital emergency room. He was born Sept. 4, 1916 in Warren County, the son of Donald Porter and Dicia Salts Crawford. He had lived in Flora before moving to Yeoman in 1968. He married Betty Jo Barrick, Oct 25, 1963, in Zionsville, and she survives. A 1934 graduate of West Lebanon High School, he served in the Army during World War II and the Korean War. Read More	"YEOMAN - Donald Porter Crawford, Jr., 76, died at 12:31 AM Sunday, April 4, 1993, in the White County Memorial Hospital emergency room. He was born Sept. 4, 1916 in Warren County, the son of Donald Porter and Dicia Salts Crawford. He had lived in Flora before moving to Yeoman in 1968. He married Betty Jo Barrick, Oct 25, 1963, in Zionsville, and she survives. A 1934 graduate of West Lebanon High School, he served in the Army during World War II and the Korean War. Mr. Crawford formerly owned and operated Crawford Petroleum in Carroll County. In the 1980s, he sold the delivery division to Stanley J. Clark. From 1945 until 1963, he worked for the Shell Oil Co. He was a member of the Monticello Christian Church, the West Lafayette Elks Lodge, a life member of the National Rifle Association, a member and past president of the Indiana Oil Marketers Association, and a member and former director of the National Oil Jobbers Association. An avid hunter and fisherman, he also was a member of the Quail Unlimited and Ducks Unlimited organizations. Also surviving are three daughters, Lynn (Mrs. Jay) Sinex of Fishers, IN; Gail (Mrs. Melvin) Porter of Ben Lomond, CA; and Dona (Mrs. Robert) Dibble of Livermore, CA; a sister, Mrs. Marguerite Whitten of Indianapolis; and 7 grandchildren. Preceded in death by two brothers, Wendell and Robert Crawford. Service April 6 Horn Funeral Home, Delphi, the Rev.
