Funeral services were conducted Oct. 13 from the chapel of Bilbrey Funeral Home, with Bro. Rick McAbee officiating. Interment was in Bat Town Cemetery. Mr. Findley was born Sept. 6, 1929, in Jamestown, TN, the son of Ethel (Hood) and Merdia L. Findley. He was a welder for Tennessee Valley Authority and of the Church of Christ faith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, David Findley; and sisters, Lily Findley and Lulu Findley. Pallbearers were Clay Norris, Chris Findley, Donnie Hassler, Josh Barnacz, Johnny Hassler and Dustin Findley.
