Mr. williams has served as a member of the first school board of the Southern Wells Community Schools following a consolidation. A lifelong resident and farmer of Wells County, he was born December 28, 1912 to Samuel and Gertrude Montgomery Williams. His marriage Sept. 6, 1936 was to Frances I. Hinshaw, who died Oct 27, 1988.
