Description	:	Donald Ray Beckman, 55, of Siloam Springs, Ark., died Sept. 1, 2008, at his home. He was born Sept. 15, 1952, in Gothenberg, Neb., to Reinhard and Darline Juilfs Beckman. He received his Bachelor of Science in Sociology / Anthropology from Dana College; his Master of Human Relations from the University of Oklahoma and his Professional Psychology Program was through the University of Oklahoma. He was born Sept. 15, 1952, in Gothenberg, Neb., to Reinhard and Darline Juilfs Beckman. He received his Bachelor of Science in Sociology / Anthropology from Dana College; his Master of Human Relations from the University of Oklahoma and his Professional Psychology Program was through the University of Oklahoma. He previously held positions as therapist at the Charter Behavioral Health Services, Fayetteville, Ark.; Integris Mental Health, Oklahoma City, Okla.; and the Chisholm Trail Counseling Services, El Reno, Okla. He attended First Presbyterian Church in Rogers, Ark., where he sang in the choir and participated in hand bells. He married Linda Wilds in Norman, Okla., on Nov. 25, 1988. He was preceded in death by a brother, Jim Beckman, and his mother, Darline Beckman. He is survived by his wife, of the home; his father, of Syracuse, Neb.; one brother, the Rev. Ron Beckman and his wife Judy of Westminster, Colo.; three stepdaughters, Deanna Wilds of Gentry, Ark., Kimberly Wilds of Norman, Okla., and Davilyn Valdez of Pagosa Springs, Colo.; and eight grandchildren. Local services will be held at 11 a. m., Sept. 4, 2008, at First Presbyterian Church in Rogers with the Rev. Jeff Parker and the Rev. Ron Beckman officiating. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p. m., Sept. 3, 2008, at Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs. Burial will be at Syracuse, Neb. To sign the online guest book, visit www. wassonfuneralhome. com.
