Born in French Village, he was the son of the late Harold and Marjorie (Hubley) Power. Donald enjoyed a 35-year career with Imperial Oil as a truck driver and was very proud of the fact that he was accident-free throughout his entire career. Papa was a wonderful piano player and also loved a good game of cards. He was an avid Toronto Blue Jays and Maple Leaf fan. His grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many of the children in the neighborhood... He was happiest when he was with his family, especially his grandchildren. He is survived by his son, Blaine Hill; daughters, Shelley Power (Jeff ) and Marjorie Henderson; sister, Marlene Lane (Denis); grandchildren, Ryan, Kenneth, Raymond, Melissa, Tara, Ashley, Timmy, Kayla, Ryan, Bradley and Kathryn; great grandchildren, Chase, Joshwa, Alijah, Tyler, Alora, and Ariahna. He was predeceased by his wife, Shirley (Dean) Power and daughter, Bonnie Power.
