Description	:	Donald attained the age of 68 years, 11 months and 7 days. Donald Buse, son of Tena (Bleeker) and Henry Buse, was born July 7, 1933 in Lennox, SD. The family farmed in the Lennox area where he grew up and attended country school. Donald joined the Army on December 9, 1953 and was honorably discharged on December 8, 1955. He farmed and worked for at the John Morrell & Company for many years, retiring in 1998. Donald was united in marriage to Joyce McDonnel on January 14, 1980 in Sioux Falls. Donald Buse, son of Tena (Bleeker) and Henry Buse, was born July 7, 1933 in Lennox, SD. The family farmed in the Lennox area where he grew up and attended country school. Donald joined the Army on December 9, 1953 and was honorably discharged on December 8, 1955. He farmed and worked for at the John Morrell & Company for many years, retiring in 1998. Donald was united in marriage to Joyce McDonnel on January 14, 1980 in Sioux Falls. After his retirement, Donald loved to babysit his special step-grandson Cory Lowrie, bicycling on the bike paths and parks. A few of Don's hobbies included plants, yard work, and collecting miniature John Deere tractors. He enjoyed helping others in their time of need. Don will be remembered best for his love of his wife, family and extended family and his happy go lucky personality. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Sioux Falls, SD Grateful for having shared his life are his wife Joyce; a daughter , Donna Varner of California, two sons, Tom and Douglas Buse, both of California; stepsons, Michael McDonnel, Sioux Falls and Jeffrey McDonnel of North Carolina; step-daughters, Debra (Leo) Arens, and Susan (Joe) Lowrie, all of Sioux Falls; two grandchildren; ten step-grandchildren; a special step-grandson, Cory Lowrie; seven step - great grandchildren; three sisters, Dorothy Kruger, Ann Backer, and Joyce Murphy, all of Sioux Falls; a special family friend Barb McDonnel; and a host of other relatives and friends. His parents, a sister, Nancy Leslie, and a step-grandson, Jason McDonnel, preceded him in death.
