Description	:	Donald W. Grosshuesch was born on June 2, 1919 to Albert and Clara Schnuelle Grosshuesch at Alpena SD. At the age of fourteen, he was confirmed into the faith of the Reformed Church of the U.S., of which he was a life- long member. He was employed in the shipyards in Manitowoc, Wi for five years doing submarine construction during WWII. He married Audrey Wernecke on August 5, 1945. He was involved in farming near Scotland, SD from 1948 until 1973 and then became involved in carpentry and later moved to Mitchell, SD in 1994. He had recently moved to... Read More	Donald W. He is survived by four daughters: Jean Voeks and Gary of Oceanside, CA; Marie Grosshuesch and husband John of Kanab, UT; Ann Grosshuesch and husband Quintin of Bluffton, SC; Carol Knorr of Plymouth, Wi; three sons: Steven Grosshuesch and wife Sara, of Elkhorn, WI; Mark Grosshuesch and wife Ruth of Sheboygan, WI; Vernon Grosshuesch and wife, Marlene, of Newton, WI; two sisters: Hilda Baltzer of Parkston, SD; Viola Brott of Beatrice, NE; two brothers: Eldon Grosshuesch of Benson, MN; Robert Grosshuesch of Yankton, SD; fourteen grandchildren and one great- grandchild He was proceeded in death by his parents, three brothers: Carl, Vernon, and Paul, four sisters: Edna, Elsie, Verna, and Lydia, who died in infancy.
