Description	:	Donald Z. Dickinson, of Sterling, died Dec. 29, 1991 at Sterling Regional MedCenter. He was 63 years old. Mr. Dickinson was born April 8, 1928, at Sterling to Donald D.and Elma (Smith) Dickinson. He married Thelma Bachelder on Jan.30, 1948 at Sidney, Neb. Mr. Dickinson attended grade school at Minto Valley School, northeast of Sterling. He graduated from Sterling High School in 1946. Mr. Dickinson was born April 8, 1928, at Sterling to Donald D.and Elma (Smith) Dickinson. He married Thelma Bachelder on Jan.30, 1948 at Sidney, Neb. Mr. Dickinson attended grade school at Minto Valley School, northeast of Sterling. He graduated from Sterling High School in 1946. His work took him over much of northeast Colorado and south western Nebraska as he lived and worked in Crook, Wray, Fort Mor gan, Holyoke, Loveland, Fort Collins and Sidney, Neb., as well as Sterling. At his death he was employed by Valley Implement of Sidney, Neb., as a farm machinery salesman. Mr. Dickinson was honorably discharged from the United States Army at Fort Lewis in 1947. Mr. Dickinson was a member of the Church of Crook, the Elks, and the American Legion in both Ster ling and Sidney, Neb. Survivors include his wife of and mother both of Sterling. A daughter, Jerri Lynn Dickinson re sides in Engeiwood Surviving brothers and sisters include Shirley McCune of Engel wood and Charles Dickinson of Greeley. Mr. Dickinson was preceded in death by a son Michael and his fa ther, who passed away in March of 1991. Visitation will be Wednesday, Jan. 1, 1992, from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. at Tennant Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Thursday at Tennant Funeral Home with Rev. Kenneth Neal presiding. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens
