The former Corvallis, Oregon resident was 89. She and fraternal twin Donald Ray were born July 25, 1930 in Tarkio, Missouri to Vernal James and Helen Florence (Cozad) Horn. Donna attended school in College Springs, Iowa and graduated from Clarinda High School in 1948. She worked for the telephone company in Clarinda three years before moving to Oregon in 1951. She and fraternal twin Donald Ray were born July 25, 1930 in Tarkio, Missouri to Vernal James and Helen Florence (Cozad) Horn. Donna attended school in College Springs, Iowa and graduated from Clarinda High School in 1948. She worked for the telephone company in Clarinda three years before moving to Oregon in 1951. Donna married Ivar Jack Lindstrom on May 24, 1954 in Corvallis. They were married for 50 years before Jack passed away June 22, 2004. She worked for Pacific Northwestern Bell in Albany and Pacific Telephone Company in Corvallis up until the birth of her first child. She was a homemaker, raising two children, although she later worked part-time at Burton's Restaurant and the Corvallis School District cafeteria. She lived in Corvallis 65 years before moving to Albany in 2016. Survivors include son Eric Lindstrom of Albany, Oregon; daughter Dianna, son-in-law Steve and grandson Rob Fenstermacher of Battle Ground, Washington; sister Betty Minor of Clarinda, Iowa; brother-in-law Richard (Diane) Lindstrom of Camas, Washington; sister-in-law Charlotte (Harold) Bielen of Oak Harbor, Washington; and numerous nieces and nephews. Donna was preceded in death by her parents Vernal and Helen; husband Jack; her brother Donald and sister Vernine both died in infancy. In keeping with her wishes, there will be no funeral service. A private interment will take place in Bow Cemetery, Washington at a later date.
