They lived in various areas including Rising City, Crete, Columbus and Silver Creek. In 1990, they retired and moved to Rising City. She was well known for her cooking. She enjoyed sewing, painting, ceramics, gardening, plants, flowers, reading and loved animals. She was a member of the United Methodist church of Rising City, Ladies Aide and Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and a daughter-in-law Glenda F. Coffin.
