Description	:	Donna Lou Friese was born on Mar. 2, 1948, in Sioux Falls, SD, the daughter of Marion and Lottie (Rogers) Langrock. She grew up and attended public school in Lennox, graduating from Lennox High School in 1966. She attended the University of Sioux Falls from 1966 to 1969 where she received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music and Elementary Education. She grew up and attended public school in Lennox, graduating from Lennox High School in 1966. She attended the University of Sioux Falls from 1966 to 1969 where she received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music and Elementary Education. On Jul. 18, 1969, she was united in marriage to Wade Friese at Lennox Ebenezer Presbyterian Church. Following their marriage,they live in Sioux Falls and in Emery where they taught school. In 1975, they moved to Lennox where they raised their children, Jeremy and Jamie. Donna loved teaching school and in 1986 resumed her teaching career and taught in the Lennox School District until illness forced her retirement in Jan. of 1998 She was preceded in death by her father, Marion, on May 27, 1975, and her mother, Lottie, on Dec. 28, 1985; her father-in-law, Peter Friese, on Dec. 16, 1993,and one infant sister. Following a three year valiant battle with cancer, Donna, died peacefully at her home in Lennox on Monday, Nov. 23, 1998. She attained the age of 50 years, eight months and 21 days. Those most grateful for having shared her life are her husband and best friend, Wade; her two children and their spouses: Jeremy and Lisa Friese of Rochester, MN, and Jamie and Cory Strasser of Luverne, MN; two sisters: Linda Cramer and her husband, Larry, of Lennox and her twin, Denice Rippentrop and her husband, Gary, of Columbia Heights, MN; her mother-in-law: Vera Friese of Lennox; her brothers-in-law and sister-in-law: Gene Friese of Sturgis, and Darryl and Joyce Williamson of Lennox.
