Jim Stewart, SP4 Ronnie Wells, Pvt. Barry Willoughby, Sfc. Mel Beaver, Msg. James Milani, Sfc. Monty Johnson, Sfc. Gary Barrett and Ssg. Rick Branson. Honorary Pallbearers were Barry Fisher, Van Vrban, Dwight Sommar, Howard De Zwarte, Larry Luscri, Louis Cherubin, Traccy Arpen and Roy Rogers. Military Honors were provided by the Iowa Army National Guard. Pallbearers for Mrs. Jones were Brent Smith, Donnie Lovell, Byron Payton, Larry Earney, Robert Earney, Chuck Lovell, Cliff Lovell and Dean Earney. Mr. Jones, the son of James Jones and Lavada Bingham, was born in Chariton on January 28, 1951. Mrs. Jones, the daughter of Glen and Charlotte Kading Lovell, was born in Des Moines on March 22, 1953. They were married on April 25, 1970. To this union a daughter, April Dawn, was born. Rodney was a 1969 graduate of Melcher-Dallas High School. He was a veteran of the Army, Navy and Army Reserves. Donna was a homemaker. They are survived by their daughter April Dawn Jones. Rodney was preceded in death by his parents. Rodney's survivors include his sister Carolyn Earney of Hudson, his step-father Raymond Spear and his grandmother Effie Mae Jones of Scottsville, Ky. Donna was preceded in death by her father. Donna is survived by her mother Charlotte Lovell, three sisters: Velma Luscri, Linda Enfield and Barbara Payton, all of Melcher-Dallas; and four brothers: Charles Lovell and David Lovell, both of Knoxville; Jerry Lovell of Melcher-Dallas; and Robert Lovell of Milan, Ill. They both leave many other relatives and friends to mourn their passing.
