Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 10 at Muscatine Memorial Park Cemetery. The Rev. Betsy Neipert will officiate. Casketbearers will be Jason Hepker, Bart Hepker, Dereck Kraemer, RD Oppelt, Randy Burmeister, and Mike Smith. Honorary casketbearers will be Larry Ament, Butch Matthews, Ronnie Ament, and Daryl Matthews. Following the services, a time of food and fellowship will be at the Moose Lodge in Muscatine. Mrs. Hepker was born July 18, 1931, in Galesburg, the daughter of Harold and Grace (Streeter) Mott. She married Hubert Hepker March 11, 1951, in West Liberty. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Muscatine, as well as the Moose Lodge. She farmed side-by-side with her husband for 51 years, since 1956, and especially enjoyed the harvest season, antiquing, visiting with many, many friends, family and neighbors and spending time with her grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by her husband; a son, Gary Hepker and his wife, Lori, of Muscatine; four grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; a great-grand-daughter; a sister, Tuddy England of Clarence, Iowa; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Stephen Hepker; a brother, Ralph Mott; and two sisters, Mary Ament and Joane Matthews.
