Jung of Martinsburg, Nebraska, was stricken by arthritis of the heart on the morning of April 5, and though rushed to a Sioux City hospital, she passed away four hours later, at the age of 49 years and 4 days.Funeral services which were attended by several Palmer people were held at the church in Martinsburg Wednesday morning of last week, and burial was made in North Platte, the city of her birth. On Nov. 3, 1909 Dora Anna Huxoll was united in holy wedlock to Rev. M. Jung, then pastor at Palmer, Neb. This union lasted for over 31 years in one of the most happy and ideal marriages. She willingly suffered all hardships and vicissitudes of a minister's wife, at all times being an ideal helpmeet to her husband and church. After 12 years at Palmer, she came to Martinsburg, Neb., with her husband on April 27, 1922, thus serving for 19 years and making a host of friends. In 1934 the congregation celebrated their silver wedding anniversary. This union was blessed with six children, all living. She began failing during the last five years. She leaves to mourn her early and sudden departure her deep-stricken husband, Rev. M. Jung, Norman of Burton, Nebr., Albert of Los Angeles, Calif., Martin of North Platte, Mrs. Wayne McFadden of North Platte, Mrs. Walter Utecht of Wakefield, Dorothy at home, two sons-in-law, two daughters-in-law, a mourning congregation.
