Description	:	Funeral services were conducted at the United Church of Christ on Thursday, December 17, 1964 at 1:30 p.m. for Mrs William J. (Dora Jahn) Jepsen of rural Schleswig, with Rev. R. J. Ratzlaff officiating. Mrs Jepsen passed away Tuesday morning, December 15 at the Crawford County Memorial Hospital at the age of 60, after a lingering illness. Mrs Jepsen was born on April 17, 1904 in Germany to the late Gustave and Frieda Jahn. She came to America at the age of three and the family settled in Schleswig. Mrs Jepsen was born on April 17, 1904 in Germany to the late Gustave and Frieda Jahn. She came to America at the age of three and the family settled in Schleswig. On November 8, 1923 she married William J. Jepsen. They farmed south of Schleswig since their marriage. Survivors include the widower, two sons, Alfred and Leonard and a daughter, LeMorne all at home, another daughter, Mrs Melvin Quandt (Marion) of rural Schleswig, another daughter, Mrs Richard Cordoza (Elaine) of Omaha, Nebraska and three grand children, Randy, Susan and Cindy Quandt as well as other relatives and friends. Mrs Harlan Buffum and Mrs Ray Martens sang a duet with Mrs John Evers at the organ. Hymns were "Beyond the Sunset" and "What a Friend We Have in Jesus." Pallbearers were Vernon Kuehnhold, Arnold Jepsen, Fred J. Jepsen, Herman W. Jepsen, William Jeschke, and Fred W. Jepsen. Interment was in Morgan Cemetery. Transcribed by: Bob Kuehl
