Dora Beeck Jepsen, daughter of Fred Beeck and Margaret Lafrentz, was born on October 28, 1895 in Germany. She was united in marriage to Herman Jepsen of Schleswig on March 2, 1916. To this union one daughter, Irene Abbe and five sons, Fred, Victor, Edwin, Herman, and Vernon were born. They farmed southwest of town. Mrs. Jepsen had been a resident of the Schleswig area since 1913. She was a member of the United Church of Christ in Schleswig. She attained the age of 69 years. She is survived by her husband, Herman, their six children, two sister, Anna in Germany and Mrs. Edward Jepsen, one brother, Fred Beeck, 29 grandchildren and one great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents. Burial was made in the Morgan cemetery. The pallbearers were Robert Beeck, William Jeschke, Fred W. Jepsen, Fred D. Jepsen, Alfred Jepsen, and Donald Kuehnhold.
