Description	:	EMERSON, Neb. - Dora Mae McCorkindale, 97, of Huntington Beach, Calif., and formerly of Emerson, died Dec. 18, 1991, at a hospital in California. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the First Presbyterian Church in Emerson with the Rev. Jessie and the Rev. Arlene Patrick officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery at Emerson. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time at the church. Munderloh Funeral Home of Emerson is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. McCorkindale, the former Dora Bramsen, was born Sept. 5, 1894 in Emerson, the daughter of Christian and Caroline (Bonnicson) Bramsen. She grew up and attended school at Craig and Emerson. She owned and managed McCorkindale's Ladies Ready to Wear Store in Einerson for many years. She married Donald McCorkindale Feb. 19, 1919. The couple lived in Emerson until 1961. He preceded her in death. She moved to Omaha in 1961 to live with her daughter, Phyllis Shotwell, and they moved to California in 1964. Mrs. McCorkindale was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church where she played the organ and piano. Survivors include her daughter Phyllis Shotwell, of Huntington Beach; two sons, Bruce of Huntington Beach and Donald and his wife, Geraldine, of San Antonio,Texas; six grandchildren, Joseph Dale of Huntington Beach, Sharman Miller of Honolulu, Hawaii, Lynn Bandaruk of Newport Beach, Calif.
