Kallsen had passed away at her home south of Keystone, IA shortly before midnight Saturday. Although she had been seriously ill for the past three weeks, hopes were held for her recovery. The cause of death was pneumonia, following child birth. Her baby was four weeks old Tuesday. Dora Christine Knoke was born in Knoke, Iowa Jan. 25, 1900 and at her death was slightly over 34 years of age. She was married to Walter J. Kallsen on Aug. 28, 1919 at Keystone. To this union seven children were born, all of whom with the husband survive. The oldest boy, Homer is but twelve years old. The other children are Lois, Audrey, Sylvia, Dolores, Ardath and the baby Keith Curtis. Other relatives surviving are her father, Wm. Knoke, three brothers, John of Waterloo, Will of Garrison and Arthur at home and five sisters, Mrs. Mary Bryant of Van Horne, Mrs. Christina Mills of Luzerne, Mrs. Irma Liddle of Hazel Green, Wis. and Hilda and Helen at home. ' Funeral services were held at the local Lutheran church Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, in charge of Rev. A.W. Brauer, and burial was made in the Keystone cemetery. Relatives from a distance besides the sisters and brothers who were here for the last services were Mr. and Mrs. John Knoke and Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Knoke of Knoke, Iowa, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Helmbrecht of Lytton, Iowa, Mrs. Alfred Knoke, of Iowa City, Mrs. Geo Bryant of Cedar Rapids, Rev. and Mrs. Geo Weber and children of Omaha, Rev. and Mrs. Ewald Kallsen , daughter, Bonita and son Arthur of Ocheydan , Ed Miller, Frank Everett, August Kallsen and Mrs. Fred Baden, all of Jasper, Minn. and Mrs. Anna PhiLips of Boone, IA.
