Description	:	Dora P Furnish was born on February 2, 1885 to Frank Marion Furnish and Calla Jane Maxwell at Whitman Co, Washington. She had seven sisters and six brothers. Her sisters were Emma(1881-1881) Laura(1883), Lulu(1886), Rita(1888), Alta(1893), Ina(1895), and Violet(1907). Her brothers were Otis(1882-1882) Roy(1890), Lloyd(1898), Arthur(1900), William(1903) and Lawson{1905). On August 16, 1902 she married Ezra T Douglass at Albany, Linn Co, Oregon. Not sure just when Dora and Ezra got divorced. Ezra remarried in 1917 to a Edna Johnson. Dora married, William 'Will' J Williams on December 26, 1912. On October 24, 1916 their son Owain J Williams was born in Alaska. Will died on November 15, 1918 in Thane, Alaska. He was brought back to Oregon and was buried on December 12,1918 in Santiam Central Cemetery. In the 1920 Census, Dora is listed as Dora Williams a widow, (34), with Ellsworth Douglass(16) and Owain J Williams(3), living at Knox Butte, Linn Co, Oregon. Some time before 1930, Dora married Wlibur C Browning, son of Edward F and Mittie Browning. Dora was twelve years older than Wilbur. The 1930 Census lists, Wilbur Browning(32), Dora Browning(44), Ellsworth Browning(23) and Owain Browning(14), living in Pluvius, Pacific Co, Washington. Wilbur died on Februry 26, 1947 at Tacoma, Pierce Co. Washington. He was only 49. He is buried at Oakwood Hill Cemetery, Tacoma, Pierce Co., Washington. In 1960, Dora was living in Seattle, Washington. All three of her children are married and have children of their own. She died March 3, 1971, at the age of 86 years, at Seattle, King Co, Washington. She is buried at Greenwood Cemetery, Chimacum, Jefferson Co, Washington. She was a sweet and wonderful lady, and she is missed by all who knew and loved her.
