Description	:	The Hooper Sentinel 1-14-1937 Former Hooper Resident Passes away at Omaha Funeral services for Mrs. Dorothy Coston of Omaha were held yesterday afternoon from the Wollmer & Warne mortuary with Rev. W. W. Alexander of Grace Lutheran church in charge, and interment was made in Hooper cemetery. Mrs. Costen as Dorothy Stroh was born in Germany February 11, 1881, and came to America with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Stroh, while still a small child. She grew to young womanhood here in Hooper where she will be remembered by many who knew her during her years of residence here.... Mrs. Costen as Dorothy Stroh was born in Germany February 11, 1881, and came to America with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Stroh, while still a small child. She grew to young womanhood here in Hooper where she will be remembered by many who knew her during her years of residence here. She passed away at St. Josephs hospital, Omaha, on Sunday January 10, 1937, after an illness of seven weeks duration that followed a very serious operation, death coming as a blessed relief from earthly suffering. Deceased was married to Fred Koehler in 1905 and went to Omaha to make her home, living there until her mother's death in 1916 when she returned to Hooper to make her home with her father. She was married in 1918 to Edward Coston and after living here for several years they moved back to Omaha where she resided until the time of her death. Mrs. Coston is survived by her husband and by two brothers, Richard Stroh of Hooper and Henry Stroh of Missoula, Mont. Also by four nieces, one nephew,and a number of more distant relatives. The Omaha World Herald 1-13-1937 Mrs. Dora Coston. Mrs. Dora Coston, 56, former Omahan, recently of Hooper, Neb., died at an Omaha hospital Sunday after an illness of several weeks. She was stricken while visiting a sister-in-law, Mrs. Edit Lauritsen, 1330 South Thirtieth Avenue. Surviving also are her husband, Edward and two brothers. The body will be sent from the Brailey & Dorrance mortuary to Hooper for burial. Obit provided by Harry Wagner
