Dora was predeceased by her husband Shirley Wayne King; her father, Thomas Walburbger; her mother, Hazel Towell Walburger; her sister, Clara Hart; and her brother Edward Walburger. She is survived by her daughters; Barbara (Bruce) Nalder and Linda (Phil) Jensen; her sisters, Hazel Towne, and Beatrice Williams; 8 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren. Dora and Shirley were married December 4, 1940. They resided in Raymond all of their married live except for three years in Ottawa during the war. They were called as missionaries for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints during their time in Ottawa. Dora was born in Mountain View, AB, on June 24, 1914. She was a devoted wife and mother who enjoyed her home and family. She worked for Canadian Sugar Factories for many years and after retiring she spent one year as Librarian at the Raymond Elementary School. She was active in the L.D.S. Church where she held many positions both as a leader and a teacher. She had a passion for writing and recently was co-author with Norma Smith of many volumes of "Memories of Raymond". Dora was a elegant lady and will be deeply missed. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, February 9, 2001, at 1:00 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Knight Street Chapel, Raymond, AB.
