Doris married Rollin Jackson and he preceded her in death on October 14, 1988. A resident of Davis County most of her life, Doris was a homemaker. She was a member of the Floris Baptist Church. Doris married Rollin Jackson and he preceded her in death on October 14, 1988. A resident of Davis County most of her life, Doris was a homemaker. She was a member of the Floris Baptist Church. Surviving are her children, Pastor Jack (Barb) Jackson of Batavia, Mike Jackson of Grand Rapids, MI, Chris (Kim) Jackson of Cedar Falls, Connie (Max) Steele of Wheatfield, IN and Tim Jackson of Floris; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a brother, Bill (Sandra) Sloan of Grundy Center and a sister, Carol Langford Hershey of Bloomfield. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Shelly Miller; and daughters-in-law, Carolyn Jackson and Debbie Jackson. Open visitation will be 1 p.m. Friday April 9th at Reece Funeral Home the family will be present to greet friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday April 10th at Reece Funeral Home with her son, Pastor Jack Jackson officiating. For those unable to attend, you may watch the service live on the Reece Funeral Home Facebook page. Burial will be in Mt. Gilead Cemetery near Floris. Memorials may be made to Floris Baptist Church.
