Visitation with the family present is 5-7 PM Monday, November 18, 2019 at George Boom Funeral Home & On-site Crematory, Sioux Falls. Doris Arlene Eastman, daughter of Harley and Goldie (Iseminger) Eastman, was born January 27, 1938 at Canton, SD. She grew up at Canton and graduated from high school there. She married Oliver Narum and later married Hiko Herding. Hiko preceded her in death in 1983. After Hiko’s death she had a special companion, Roger DeBoer, who preceded her in death in 2015. Doris owned and operated D & H Cafe in downtown Sioux Falls for many years. She later worked for Peterson Trucking, Ed Salear’s Bar & Grille, and lastly at Visiting Angels before retiring. She was a huge fan of the Minnesota Vikings and the Minnesota Twins. In her honor, please wear your favorite NFL or MLB clothing to her visitation and graveside service. Survivors include her two sons, Oliver (Kim) Narum and Paul Narum and Melinda Meyer, all of Sioux Falls, SD; three grandchildren, Nick Narum, Alyssa (Zach) Bickett, and Apryl Narum; three siblings, Shirley Styke, Inwood, IA, Roger (Pat) Eastman, West Des Moines, IA, Marcia (Dan) Stocking, Herriman, UT; and a host of other relatives and friends. - George Boom Funeral Home
