Doris Duncan, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L. L. Duncan, of the Duncan Chapel neighborhood, died Tuesday morning, after a short illness of diphtheric croup, aged 4 years, 6 months and 11 days. Doris was a bright and lovable child and her death is a sad blow to the parents, who have the sincere sympathy of all friends. The little one was a granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Reason Baker, of Shelbyville. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at the family home, conducted by Rev. J. H. Wood of this city, assisted by Rev. B. F. Leake, of Shelbyville. Burial in I. O. O. F. cemetery at Shelbyville. The members of the Shelbyville P. K. O. Chapter attended the burial in a body.
