Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m., Friday, March 21, at Mount Pleasant Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1137 Mount Pleasant Road, Ehrhardt, with the Rev. Timothy Bryson officiating. She was a retired secretary from Clemson Extension in Bamberg. She was a member of the ARCEE and the Young at Heart. Mrs. Bishop will be remembered by many for her love of good southern cooking, especially for her wonderful bread and lemon pies; as well as her love for sewing and gardening. Her visits to those she loved and the time spent with the ones she cared for will always be a treasured memory about her life. Surviving are two sons, Allen Woods and his wife Becky of Aiken, and Bruce Bishop and his wife Terri of Ehrhardt; a daughter, Candace Fralix and her husband Dean of Ehrhardt; a brother, Henry Bowers of Barnwell; and a sister, Maxine Avant of Islandton; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
