FRANK WALLERICH Doris Eva, daughter of John J. and Josephine Snakenberg, was born in Plank township, Keokuk County, Iowa January 18, 1887, and departed this life at the Abbott hospital in Oskaloosa, early Thursday afternoon, January 18, 1934, the forty-seventh anniversary of her birth. On November 30, 1911, she was united in marriage with Frank Wallerich, who with their daughter, Darlene, survives her. All her life she had resided either on the farm in Plank township or in Sigourney, the family home being in Sigourney at the time of her death. FRANK WALLERICH Doris Eva, daughter of John J. and Josephine Snakenberg, was born in Plank township, Keokuk County, Iowa January 18, 1887, and departed this life at the Abbott hospital in Oskaloosa, early Thursday afternoon, January 18, 1934, the forty-seventh anniversary of her birth. On November 30, 1911, she was united in marriage with Frank Wallerich, who with their daughter, Darlene, survives her. All her life she had resided either on the farm in Plank township or in Sigourney, the family home being in Sigourney at the time of her death. She is also survived by her mother, Mrs. Josephine Snakenberg, two sisters, Mrs. Wesley Hoffman, Mrs. N. H. Wallerich and one brother, Louis J. Snakenberg, all of Sigourney and vicinity. Mrs. Wallerich was an esteemed member of the Rebekah lodge of Sigourney. For some months Mrs. Wallerich had been in failing health and last Sunday was taken to the hospital in Oskaloosa. He death was a great shock to relatives and friends throughout the county. The attendance at the funeral, held at two o'clock Saturday afternoon, January 20, was larger than could be accomodated by the seating capacity of the Methodist Episcopal church. The service was conducted by the pastor, the Rev. W. A. Longnecker. Mrs. Charles Phelps was at the organ. A quartette consisting of Glen Barnes, Harry Michel and the Misses Adele Page and Tisha Moorman provided appropriate hymns. Burial was made in the West cemetery.
