Doris' life has always revolved around family, friends and church. She was a licensed beautician in Ottumwa for 28 years. In 1965, she and her family moved to California where she owned and operated two beauty salons. She was a member and served faithfully in the New Wine Church in Lucerne Valley, Calif. Funeral services will be 12:30 p.m. Thursday at Calvary Baptist Church in Ottumwa with Rev. Mel Kendall officiating. Burial will be in Shaul Cemetery.
