She leaves in mourning, besides her husband Melvin, three daughters, Viola (Mrs. Daniel Saulnier) of Pinkney’s Point; Doreen (Mrs. William Surette) of London, Ont.; and Wanda (Mrs. Marty Mollison) of Dartmouth; a son, Arthur of Pinkney’s Point; three stepsons, James of Pinkney’s Point; Joseph of Comeau’s Hill and Stillman of Yarmouth; three stepdaughters, Geneva (Mrs. Bernie d’Entremont) of Tusket, Agnes (Mrs. Dennis Frotten) of Quinan and Gertrude (Mrs. Robert Doucette) of Wedgeport; also six brothers, Roy of Dayton, Donald of Pinkney’s Point, Delmer and Benny of Yarmouth, Clarence of Melbourne, and Arnold of Orillio, Ont.; seven sisters, Christine (Mrs. John Kazyk) of Orillia, Leona (Mrs. Donald Comeau) and Anita (Mrs. Roy Surette) of Yarmouth, Betty (Mrs. Herbert Margolian) of Digby, Angie (Mrs. Gerald MacCarthy) of South Ohio, and Laura (Mrs. William Littney) and Freda (Mrs. Narcisse Surette) of Pinkney’s Point; and 11 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Doucette; by three brothers, Arthur, Ronald and Edward; by two stepsons, Marcel and Nathan; and by two sisters, Emilie and Marion. The body rested at Huskilson Funeral Home in Yarmouth. The funeral was held Wednesday the 26th of April, at 10:30 a.m., with funeral service at Saint-Raphael Church. Father Leo Maillet officiated. Burial was in the parish cemetery.
