Description	:	Doris Jean Anderson was born to Trygve and Bertha (Wastun) Eidsness on April 20th, 1929. Doris lived her entire life in the Hetland and Lake Preston area. Her schooling included rural grade school, and she graduated from Hetland High School. She was baptized and confirmed in the North Preston Lutheran church. She married Albert (Bud) Anderson February 23rd, 1947. Bud and Doris were married for over 70 years, living on the same farm for 52 years. Read More	Doris Jean Anderson was born to Trygve and Bertha (Wastun) Eidsness on April 20th, 1929. Doris lived her entire life in the Hetland and Lake Preston area. Her schooling included rural grade school, and she graduated from Hetland High School. She was baptized and confirmed in the North Preston Lutheran church. She married Albert (Bud) Anderson February 23rd, 1947. Bud and Doris were married for over 70 years, living on the same farm for 52 years. Their marriage was based on mutual support and a deep love for each other. Doris was proud of her Norwegian heritage. Having no first cousins in the United States she was privileged to visit Norway four times. She also loved gardening, and completed the Master Gardener program at SDSU when she was in her 70s. Doris was charter member of Calvary Free Lutheran Church of Arlington, associate member of Calvary Free Lutheran in Mesa Arizona and was a member of the Gideon auxiliary at the time of her passing. She was always active in church work and especially enjoyed quilting at the church. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Inez and a son Dennis
