On November 10, 1946, she was married to Orrin Fetzer in Conroy. The couple lived in Victor, where they owned and operated Fetzer's Oil Company. Doris was a member of St. James Lutheran Church of Victor and the Victor American Legion Auxiliary. She was a volunteer for many years at the Veterans Hospital in Iowa City. She is also survived by four sisters, Maxine Ahrens of Conroy, Muriel Germany of Buffalo, New York, Carolyn Jones of Williamsburg and Jean Davis of New Sharon. Doris was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one sister, Phyllis Olson; and two brothers, Forrest and Duane Olson.
