Friends also may call after 10:30 a.m. Friday at the church. She was born on May 22, 1931, in rural Bellevue, daughter of Delbert and Nettie (Keil) Roe. She married Eldon V. Klemme on Sept. 1, 1948, in Bellevue; he preceded her in death on Oct. 12, 2005. She worked at Sabula Speaker Factory, International Paper in Clinton and Ensign Coil in Bellevue. Doris raised seven kids and was a very strong and independent woman who always thought of others before herself. She enjoyed playing cards with family and friends. Doris also spent her spare time cooking, gardening, crocheting and quilting. She was an American Legion Auxiliary member and also volunteered at Mill Valley Care Center. Those left to honor her memory include her six children, Peggy (Marty) Mancebo, of Walnut Creek, Calif., Keith (Diane) Klemme, of Bellevue, Steve Klemme, of Miles, Nancy (Charles) Bentley, of Clinton, and Delbert Klemme and Dennis (Shelia) Klemme, both of Bellevue; a son in-law, Steve Mootz; 15 grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; six step-great-grandchildren; a sister, Judy (Bob) Yeager; an aunt, Marcella Roe; and many nieces and nephews. She also was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Karol; two grandsons, Troy and Dustin; four sisters, Fern, Donna, Marilyn and Gaynell; and two brothers, Eugene and Kenneth.
