Mrs. Dohrmann, the former Doris Mae Fell was born January 4, 1917 in DeWitt, Iowa, the only child born to Arthur Lyle and Margaret Edna (Smith) Fell. She married Adolph "A.C." Dohrmann January 6, 1937 in Clinton, Iowa. The couple farmed in the Low Moor and Camanche, Iowa areas and later at Rural, DeWitt where their farm is still located. Mrs. Dohrmann, the former Doris Mae Fell was born January 4, 1917 in DeWitt, Iowa, the only child born to Arthur Lyle and Margaret Edna (Smith) Fell. She married Adolph "A.C." Dohrmann January 6, 1937 in Clinton, Iowa. The couple farmed in the Low Moor and Camanche, Iowa areas and later at Rural, DeWitt where their farm is still located. They were one of the original vendors at the Clinton Farmers Market. Doris was a member of the Elvira Zion Lutheran Church. She greatly enjoyed gardening and growing vegetables for the farmers market, and loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Surviving are her loving husband of 66 years, Adolph; two sons, William L. Dohrmann and his wife Connie, Camanche, and Joel A. Dohrmann and his wife Carolyn, DeWitt; a daughter Edna Kay Hasson and her husband, Jerry, DeWitt; 11 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. Preceding Doris in death were her parents, a grandson, Troy Hasson, a cousin, Lyle Fell, who Doris considered as a brother, and a son-in-law, Thomas Dahms. Family and friends may visit at Schultz Funeral Home, 722 8th Street, DeWitt, from 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM Sunday, February 22, 2003. Service of Christian Burial 10:30 AM Monday, February 23, 2003 at the Funeral Home. The Rev. Walter Malkewitz officiating. Interment at Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Memorials may be made for Parkinson''s Research, Elvira Zion Lutheran Church, Hospice, or Westwing Place. Pallbearers will be Blane Dohrmann, Chad Dohrmann, Thomas Dohrmann, Mark Dahms, Rob Hasson, and Kurt Hasson. Honorary pallbearers will be Carl Larkin, Harold Sater, Bill Kaizer, and Scott Baxter.
