DORIS (SANDERSON) SPARKS, beloved wife of the late Mr. Fred Sparks, passed away in Lethbridge on Sunday, February 28, 1993 at the age of 85 years. Doris was born on February 5,1908 at Glace Bay, Nova Scotia. At an early age she moved with her parents to Taber where she was raised and received her education. On February 2,1926 she married Fred Sparks and together they resided in the original Sanderson Home on the North end of Taber until Fred's passing in 1990. Doris has resided in Lethbridge for the past three years. Doris enjoyed handicrafts and was a lifetime member of the Women of the Moose. She is survived by six children; two sisters-in-law: Alice Lewis and Esther Sanderson both of Taber; 11 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Besides her husband, she was predeceased by an infant son, Victor; a son-in-law, Gerald Hirsche; two sisters and seven brothers.
