Description	:	Doris (Reich) McCarl Mrs. Doris McCarl, 79, of Miller died Sunday, September 16, at the Huron Reginal Medical Center. Funeral services were held Tuesday, September 18, at the First Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Michael McCallum officiating. Burial was in the G.A.R. Cemetery. Doris Reich was born May 26, 1911 at Newell, SD, the daughter of Mr and Mrs. John (Josephine Rokusek) Reich. She graduated from Miller High School in 1930 and attended Northern University in Aberdeen. She taught in several rural Hand county schools. She married Herley McCarl n June 17, 1937 in Miller and the couple lived in Hand County for 70 years. Doris was active in the American Cancer Society; Ladies Union club; Royal Neighbors of America; Friendly Circle Extension Club; Pleasant Valley Presbyterian Church and the First Presbyterian Church. She is surived by one daughter and son-in-law, Robert and Madonna Blachford of Bottineau, ND; one son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Georgia McCarl of Omaha, NE; four grandchildren, Lori Blachford of Des Moines, IA, and Corey Blachford of Bottineau, ND, Geoanna McCarl and Clayton McCarlo of Omaha; and twin sister, Mrs. Roy (Dorothy) Yearous of Miller. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Herley McCarl, in 1985. Pallbearers were Randy Johnson, Steve Yearous, Eric Bertsch, Brian Bertsch, Kevin Bertsch and Michael Wolberg.
