Description	:	Funeral services for Dorothea A. Peters, 77, of Sac City, Ia. were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 22, 1982, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Sac City. Pastor Thomas Wink officiated. Mrs. Peters died May 19, 1982, at her home in Sac City. Music was congregational singing accompanied by Mrs. Lawrence Bentsen. Mrs. Leo Cross, Mrs. Frances Orth and Marjo Florist were in charge of floral arrangements. Pallbearers were William Connell, Lowell Peters, Steven Frehse, Robert Tegels, Donald Buse and Everett Buse. Interment was made in Wall Lake Cemetery under the direction of Farber & Otteman Funeral Home of Sac City. Dorothea Auguste Peters was born Aug. 27, 1904, at Ulmer, Ia., to Tones and Dorothea Buse. She was baptized Oct. 23, 1904. She was united in holy matrimony to Edward Peters at Wall Lake, Ia., Feb. 14, 1923. The couple farmed near Sac City from 1923 to 1962, at which time they retired to Sac City, where she was a charter member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Survivors include two sisters, Bertha Peters and Minnie Frank and one brother, John, all of Lake View, and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and the following brothers and sisters: Carl, Augusta, Lena Marie, George, Lena Lamine, Peter, Tony, Herman, William, Margaret and Christina.
