Arduser occurred at her home, on the corner of Sycamore and Third streets, last Monday afternoon, at 2:30 o'clock. She had been in failing health for a number of years, and had been bedfast for nearly six months. Throughout her long illness, she was tenderly cared for by her husband and daughters. Arduser occurred at her home, on the corner of Sycamore and Third streets, last Monday afternoon, at 2:30 o'clock. She had been in failing health for a number of years, and had been bedfast for nearly six months. Throughout her long illness, she was tenderly cared for by her husband and daughters. One daughter, Mrs. George Maire, had been with her mother constantly for several months. Born in Switzerland. The birth of Mrs. Arduser (nee Dorothy Ambuehl) occurred at Davos, Canton Graubunden, Switzerland, April 3, 1863. She, was a daughter of Andrew and Kathryn (Arduser) Ambuehl. She came to the United States with her parents, in 1872. The family settled on a farm in Bowen's Prairie. Those left of her father's family include two sisters: Mrs. Kate Baer of Monticello and Mrs. Margaret Kiburz of Chicago. She is also survived by one brother, George Ambuehl, of Montlcello. One sister, Mrs. J. J. Janett of Sheboygan, Wis., preceded her in death and a brother, Andrew Ambuehl passed away July 28, 1936. Mr. and Mrs. Arduser were married at the home of the letter's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Ambuehl, in Richland township, November 22, 1882. The officiating clergyman was Rev. P. Graf, who was at that time pastor of the Reformed church in Monticello. She was an active member of this church throughout her entire life. Four Children. Mr. and Mrs. Arduser became the parents of four children, one of whom, a daughter, died in infancy. A son, Carl Arduser, passed away November 2, 1935. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Arduser is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Geo. B. Hein of Richland township, and Mrs. George Maire of Monticello. Mr. and Mrs. Arduser are also blessed with five grandchildren, Lyle Arduser, and Loraine, Donald, Robert and Dorothy Ann Maire. Mr. and Mrs. Arduser made their home on a farm northeast of Montlcello until 1921, when they retired from active farm work. They purchased the Bidwell property on Sycamore street, which has since been their home. It is of Interest to note that Mr. and Mrs. Arduser were privileged to celebrate the. fiftieth anniversary of their marriage, November 22, 1932. Due to the fact that Mrs. Arduser was not in the best of health, an extensive celebration was not held at that time. Funeral Yesterday. Funeral services were held yesterday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock, at the Reformed church. The services were in charge of Rev. Arnold Buol, a cousin of the decedent. Mrs. Arduser's pastor, Rev. Tendick is absent on his vacation. Her body was laid to rest in Oakwood cemetery.
