Description	:	Mrs. Dorothy Allene Estes, 86, went home to be with her Lord Sept. 6, 2011. Born in Doctors Inlet, Fl., she was a lifelong resident of Clay County. She met and married a farm boy from Kansas who was stationed at Jax. Naval Air Station in WWII. They married Dec. 7, 1945 and remained married until her death and the angels took her to Father Abrahams Bosom. Paul took care of her along with the help of several loving friends Susie, Phyllis, Angel, and Rhonda. She was blessed with a son who was faithful to his parents till the end.... Read More	Mrs. Dorothy Allene Estes, 86, went home to be with her Lord Sept. 6, 2011. Born in Doctors Inlet, Fl., she was a lifelong resident of Clay County. She met and married a farm boy from Kansas who was stationed at Jax. Naval Air Station in WWII. They married Dec. 7, 1945 and remained married until her death and the angels took her to Father Abrahams Bosom. Paul took care of her along with the help of several loving friends Susie, Phyllis, Angel, and Rhonda. She was blessed with a son who was faithful to his parents till the end. She survived an abduction and murder of her beautiful and talented 16 yr. old daughter. She graduated from Clay High School in Green Cove Springs, a bookkeeper and stenographer and principals Secretary at Orange Park Jr. and Sr. High schools, and retired as the principals secretary at Orange Park Middle school after 23 years service with the School Board. She was the Ideal Pastors wife and lover and mother of her children. She loved people of all ages but especially children teaching childrens Sunday school. Her last several years took a terrible toll on her heath and body suffering from Osteo-Arthritus but not her love for God, Husband Church, family and friends. Survivors include her husband of 65 yrs., Rev. Paul L. Estes; son, Paul L. Estes, II and wife Brenda; brother and sister-in-law, Edward and Susie Page; 6 grand and 5 great-grandchildren. Pastor Paul wrote I didnt deserve such a wonderful wife, but God blessed me with her when I was lost, and rewarded her faith by my receiving Christ after two years of marriage. Funeral service will be held Friday Sept. 9th. At 11:00 am in the Fleming Island Baptist Church with family receiving friends from 9 am until the hour of service.
