Dorothy worked in food service at St. John's Hospital and did housekeeping in private homes for many years. She was preceded in death by her father, Joe on June 16, 1965; her mother, Anna on May 29, 1934; two husbands; five brothers, William, Joe, George, Herbert and Jake and one sister, Zola Stocks. Grateful for having shared in her life are her son, Joe Allen (Kay) Walter of Huron; daughter, Marlene (Mike) Maddock of Huron; step-son, DeWayne (Carol) Walter of Yale; two grandsons, Timothy (Julie) Walter of Watertown and JR (Chelsea) Williams of Kingfisher, Oklahoma; five great-grandchildren, Gracyn, Annika and Payton Walter and Bode and Tucker Williams; and two sisters, Viola Brown of Hoffman, Minnesota and Ann West-Niece of Huron.
